Professional and Management Engineering Training

ECITB professional and management engineering training courses focus on project and team management.  They develop professional competency for supervisors, project managers and engineers, and support career progression, including towards chartered status.

The Project Management Mentoring Programme brings together mentors and mentees from the oil and gas sector including operators, tier one contractors and the wider supply chain. Coordinated by the Offshore Project Management Steering Group (OPMSG) and the ECITB, the programme is an excellent example of how industry cooperation works for the benefit of the sector as a whole.

“The ECITB is truly valued as part of the team”

Head and shoulders portrait picture of Andrew Riley Director of Mecatherm West Midlands

“As our company has grown the ECITB has supported our staff to receive high level management qualifications using our preferred training provider. As well as maintaining our existing technical training, we are now continually upgrading our management training from the Chairman down. In that time the company’s turnover has more than doubled.   It is certain that without the support of the ECITB we could not have funded the level of training that we need to build Mechatherm.  The ECITB is truly valued by us and we look on them as part of the team.”
