Senior Strategy Advisor, Hydrogen Strategy and Decarbonisation at Ofgem

Hilary is Net Zero Senior Executive Officer at Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). A chartered engineer with over 27 years’ experience, Hilary comes to the ECITB Board from a mechanical and piping background within the engineering contractors industry. She was previously Director of Engineering Operations (EMEA region) for KBR. Hilary has also worked for John Brown Engineers and Constructors Ltd and Foster Wheeler. Hilary’s other roles include mentor and assessor for the Institute for Mechanical Engineering (IMechE) and she is a passionate advocate for improving inclusion within the engineering sector.
