UPDATED: ECITB Scholarship tenders now closed
The ECITB opened the tendering process for the 2027 intake of scholars and invited training organisations to submit applications to deliver these.
The opportunities to deliver scholarship discipline pathways were available to view on the government’s Find a Tender Service.

NESCol in Scotland and Pembrokeshire College in Wales are currently delivering programmes for multi discipline energy technicians and Level 2 Fabrication/Welding respectively as part of a three-cohort contract until 2027.
“The scholarship pathways and regions are selected in response to stakeholder consultation, industry demand and ECITB’s labour market intelligence.
“The ECITB Workforce Census 2024 reinforces the scale of the challenge facing the engineering construction industry (ECI) to ensure it has the thousands of additional skilled workers needed to meet future demand.
“We engage employers across the nations and regions in the development of all our new entrant programmes to ensure we are equipping learners with the skills and knowledge industry needs.”
