ECITB Workforce Census 2021

In early 2021, the ECITB undertook a Workforce Census of its in-scope companies to collect and analyse the number and location of people in the Engineering Construction Industry and supporting roles. The census survey included demographic information and  perception questions surrounding workforce growth, net zero, Covid-19 and Brexit. Fifty percent of the ECITB’s in-scope employers responded to the Workforce Census, representing 45,351 workers and 1,360 locations.
