For more than a decade, the ECITB Project Management Steering Group (PMSG) has been advocating competency management and professional development for Project Management professionals.

Made up of volunteer project management professionals from leading oil and gas, renewables and energy transition companies and facilitated by the ECITB, the group has played a pivotal role in leading the enhancement of project management competency and delivery capability across the Engineering Construction Industry.

The cross-sector Project Management Mentoring Programme, bi-annual Project Management Conference and Project Collaboration Toolkit are all major hugely successful initiatives developed by the group.

PMSG seeks new Chair

Having held the position of Chair for the last five years, Mark Fotheringham is stepping down. He is now taking a position on the ECITB Board.

They are inviting expressions of interest from professionals who work and have an interest in project management to take on the mantle of PMSG Chair.

This role calls for someone with drive and passion to ensure the PMSG maintains and grows its reputation as the key industry body in project management.
