Programme Assurance Officer

We are looking for an experienced Programme Assurance Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, consistency and continuous improvement of ECITB programmes, products and licensed services across the approved provider network.

This is an exciting opportunity to promote ECITB products, services and programmes. You will identify new growth opportunities, foster meaningful provider partnerships, and drive increased engagement across both existing and prospective provider networks.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of ECITB’s licensed provision across the UK and internationally. Working closely with providers, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of ECITB-licensed products, services and programmes to the highest standards, in line with assurance requirements.Through provider engagement, you’ll gather valuable intelligence, feedback and evidence to support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to maximise the effective use of ECITB products and services. You’ll also play a key role in protecting the integrity of ECITB provision by identifying, recording and escalating concerns, suspected malpractice and potential fraudulent activity in accordance with organisational procedures. This influential role involves evaluating delivery, facilities, resources and the overall learner experience, ensuring consistent excellence and compliance across all licensed provision.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
  • Level 3 or above recognised teaching qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
  • Current experience of learning and teaching observation, including the identification and promotion of good practice.
  • Knowledge of training, assessment and assurance practice within a regulated or compliance-led environment.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound judgements and operate effectively without direct supervision.
  • Ability to manage challenges and pressure in a calm, professional and constructive manner.
  • Customer-focused approach, with commercial awareness and an understanding of stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.
