The ECITB has opened the tendering process for the 2027 intake of scholars and is inviting training organisations to submit applications to deliver these.
The opportunities to deliver scholarship discipline pathways are available to view on the government’s Find a Tender Service.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 26 October 2026.

NESCol in Scotland and Pembrokeshire College in Wales are currently delivering programmes for multi discipline energy technicians and Level 2 Fabrication/Welding respectively as part of a three-cohort contract until 2027.

“The ECITB Workforce Census 2024 reinforces the scale of the challenge facing the engineering construction industry (ECI) to ensure it has the thousands of additional skilled workers needed to meet future demand.
