The ECITB Awarding Organisation
The ECITB has a recognised Awarding Organisation (AO) for engineering construction qualifications.
The ECITB AO is regulated by:
- England – The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual)
- Scotland –SQA Accreditation
- Wales – Qualifications Wales
To be regulated, the ECITB must continually demonstrate high standards for designing, developing, assessing and certificating qualifications.
Qualifications that are regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales or accredited by SQA Accreditation have the logo for these organisations on their certificates as a mark of high quality.
Our qualifications certify learning and validate competence across craft and technical skills, as well as supervisory, management and professional disciplines.
They improve quality and standards for the industry, ensuring engineering construction companies stay competitive both nationally and globally.
Some of our qualifications are linked with Apprenticeships.
