CCNSG Courses

The CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme offers three courses.

  • The National Course
  • The Renewal Course
  • The Leading a Team Safely Course
  • Test-Only for renewal

Each course is outlined below.

CCNSG Delivery Price-Cap

From the 1st August 2017 the ECITB/CCNSG set a maximum price that a training provider can charge. The agreed changes were driven by the requirements to protect end users and provide value for money for industry employers and candidates;

  • The price cap is the maximum that a training provider may charge. ECITB/CCNSG encourages and expects that the competition between training providers which has always existed will continue to result in a range of fees below and up to the cap. The detailed capped fees are inclusive of the £25.00 course registration fee:
  • 2 Day National Course - £150.00 +vat
  • 1 Day LaTS Course - £120.00 +vat
  • 1 Day Renewal Course - £110.00 +vat
  • The price cap will still permit the training providers to reach their own agreement with their clients on the issue of travel and accommodation costs. Any such costs passed on to the training provider’s clients are not included in the capped course fee.
  • However, any fees payable to a third party (such as a booking agency or course “broker”) which may have made any arrangements relating to a CCNSG training course or test, or which may have referred a learner to a training provider for training are included in the capped course fee.
  • It will not be permissible for the training provider to make additional charges in respect of the provision of cards. The fees described above reflect the maximum price that is paid per person in respect of CCNSG training, testing and card issuance.
  • There should be no reason why there should be any increases in prices as a consequence of the changes.
