After Natasha completed her A levels in maths and physics, she decided she didn't want to go to university to study for an engineering degree, so applied for an apprenticeship instead.
She is currently in her first year of her apprenticeship at Training 2000, but when she starts her second year, she will be back with her employer working as part of a team in overseeing large projects in costing and planning.
Natasha really enjoys being involved in both practical and theory based work during her apprenticeship, which she says gives her a better understanding of the overall environment. Hands-on training has equipped her with a real head start in putting her skills into practice and helped her gain more confidence in a working context.
As for the future, once she has completed her apprenticeship, she would like to go on to achieve her Level 4 Diploma and progress into Project Management.
