Introduction to Project Management - APM Introductory Certificate

This course addresses the principles of project management techniques including Planning and Scheduling, Communications, Quality Management, Teamwork, Resource Management, Risk Management, Handover, and Review. On completion of the course, candidates will be assessed by means of a 1-hour exam paper. Assuming successful completion of this assessment, candidates will receive a formal certificate of achievement accredited by the Association for Project Management.

Course fees

All Project Management Short Courses are free of training fees to site based staff at ECITB registered companies and to off-site based staff at ECITB registered companies without abatement. Companies with abatement will be charged a training fee for off-site based employees and may claim ECITB funding which will reflect their abatement status.

Open / scheduled courses will be provided and paid for by the ECITB. Companies may also arrange for in-house training subject to a guarantee of minimum numbers. In the first instance, ECITB approval for the training will be discussed with the employer. Normally, the employer will pay the cost of the training directly to the training provider. The ECITB will reimburse the approved training costs, less the VAT element, to the employer. Abatement rules will apply where appropriate.
