2008 Grant and Levy Guide

The ECITB is a statutory body that acts on behalf of industry in collecting a levy from all liable engineering construction companies. This collection of Levy helps us to provide assistance in all aspects of attracting individuals, developing and qualifying the workforce. To enable ECITB to provide for the training needs of the engineering construction industry, employers in the industry are required to pay an annual training levy (unless they are exempted from levy because their wages and labour-only payments fall below the relevant threshold levels).

If you do pay a levy but choose not to get directly involved in training, you are still helping maintain the industry's training and recruitment levels, as well as insuring a safe and competent workforce.
