Customer Survey 2007

Each year the ECITB surveys a sample of its employer customers to generate comment as a means for quality improvement. The findings are used in conjunction with other formal feedback and consultation processes to assist in shaping both strategy and operational delivery.

The survey conducted in 2006 involved the services of The Leadership Factor for the first time to better understand how our customers - from their perspective - view the importance of ECITB activities and their satisfaction with the product and services delivered by the ECITB. The representative sample consisted of 73 inscope companies selected randomly across each ECITB region.

The results demonstrate that the outputs delivered by the ECITB, and are funded by the levy, are considered by our customers as being highly satisfactory and overall, the respondents indicated a high level of satisfaction with the 31 areas of activity questioned. However, there was also a certain amount of dissatisfaction with ECITB's impact on reducing labour turnover and improving on employer's return on investment.
