Preferred entry requirements for someone wishing to embark on the Pipefitting Route to an ECITB Advanced/Modern Apprenticeship via would be:
In England & Wales – GCSE Grade A-C in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject, although with the physics and maths involvement, an A or B pass in the science and maths would be advantageous.
In Scotland – Standard Grades 1 - 3 in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject, similarly a 1 or 2 in science and maths would be beneficial.
