What is an ECITB Apprenticeship?

An ECITB Apprenticeship is a 3-year training scheme for new entrants, which helps you to learn a specialist trade or skill for the engineering construction industry.  You combine learning at college with plenty of practical work experience. From the beginning, you are sponsored by an employer within the industry and will work with your sponsor in the second and third years of your Apprenticeship. The training works towards a recognised qualification in a craft, as a technician or project controller. Apprentices almost always work for their sponsor company at the end of the scheme – so you get trained, get qualified and get a job!
